Var-Focal length T2 tube allows for variable focal length. With this model you can Slide one of your Eyepieces into the adapter kit.
This is optional on this particular model but is my preference. Please note your eyepiece must have a 23.2mm insertion end.
The eyepiece holder on your microscope may be larger but will not fit inside this adapter. If this is the case you must use a different eyepiece. I sell other eyepieces 10x and 5x with 23.2mm insertion ends but typically they are not as good your microscopes eyepieces.
You should use an eyepiece that is the same power as on your microscope or macroscope. Also, I suggest you use your own eyepiece if possible to eliminate optical aberration. Most customers use the 10x eyepiece.
Your eyepiece slid into the adapter. My suggestion is that you use one of your microscopes' own eyepieces to keep everything consistent. Also the quality of your eyepiece is typically better than what I sell for this adapter. Attached to a Nikon DSLR via the cameras F mount.
